Meet Amit Singh
from HERITAGE

Hi Amit, tell us how Heritage got started.
Heritage began when the previous owners were looking to sell the restaurant. It was a dream of ours to open our own fine-dining Indian restaurant, where we could bring delicious food, spectacular service, and a relaxing atmosphere altogether.

 

What makes Heritage special?
Our staff make Heritage. We are only as good as our staff, and in that case, we are great. They help us provide that greatness to everyone, especially the locals.

 

What’s been your biggest achievement so far?
The biggest goal so far has been celebrating our first anniversary on 14 August 2020. After a period of decline and changing ownership three times within 9 months, it was a huge moment to be accepted and loved by the community.

 

What do you think are Heritage’s strengths?
Our strengths are our food, our service, and the beautiful smiles we bring to everyone’s day.

 

What’s your future goal for Heritage?
Our future goal is to thrive here in Kingsland and continue providing delicious food and spectacular service to everyone.

 

What do you love most about being in Kingsland?
The people in Kingsland are absolutely amazing. They’re some of the kindest and nicest people we’ve had the pleasure of serving. The Fringe District is also close-knit, and the support and love they provide to local businesses are incredible.

 

Tell us a bit about yourself – your passions, interests, or anything else you’d like to share.
I’m quite a simple person who enjoys talking to people and learning something new. I like educating myself and also enjoy a bit of exercise.

 

Are there any interesting facts or information you’d like us to know about Heritage?
Our manager is an Accounting graduate from UOA, so in case someone needs help with a few beers, we’ve got you covered!
